Since 2010, ACCIONA's sustainability strategy has been organized around five-year Sustainability Master Plans (SMP). The purpose of the 2025 SMP is to encourage ACCIONA to reimagine infrastructure and make the company a recognized leader in developing core infrastructure assets with additional value for people and the planet, i.e. regenerative infrastructure.

Each of the four pillars of the SMP 2025 has several areas of action and a marked pathway from responsible to resilient activities, including those with a regenerative impact.
PROGRESS ON THE SMP 2025 IN 2021
In 2021, the first year of the SMP 2025, 33% of the levers have been fully activated. Of these, 48% have been partially activated and the remaining 19% are planned for action in 2022.
