SUSTAINABILITY MASTER PLAN
Since 2010, ACCIONA's sustainability strategy has been organized around five-year Sustainability Master Plans (SMP). The purpose of the 2025 SMP is to encourage ACCIONA to reimagine infrastructure and make the company a recognized leader in developing core infrastructure assets with additional value for people and the planet, i.e. regenerative infrastructure.
Each of the four pillars of the SMP 2025 has several areas of action and a marked pathway from responsible to resilient activities, including those with a regenerative impact.

KEY MILESTONES 2021
Mortlake South (Australia)
The Mortlake South wind farm is ACCIONA Energía’s newest wind farm in Australia. The wind farm capacity is 157.5 MW, enough to power 117,000 homes, and prevents the emission of approximately 532,000 tonnes of CO2 per year. The farm, which is also equipped with a battery storage facility of between 4-5 MW, is the company´s fifth in Australia and third in the state of Victoria.
